About Us

Based in the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey, Pastella Ceramics Ltd. was first incorporated in 1978, initially trading from shared premises at Douez House in Bagot.

Pastella`s initial business was selling ceramic wall and floor tiles to trade customers only, it wasn't until we moved to our current premises at Rue A la Dame, Five Oaks that the company began to realise some of its potential.

The company operated from a combined warehouse and showroom, of 1,500 sq. feet.

Massive Showroom

Pastella stocked a range of ceramic wall, floor and mosaic tiles. These were imported from Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Far East but again these were only available to trade account customers only.

Pastella`s initial break through came in 1986 when we were granted a full retail licence to trade from the Rue A La Dame premises, this combined with the already established trade accounts began to project the business forward very quickly.

As the business began growing it was decided to retain any profits within the company to allow for expansion of the showroom and to further develop product ranges.
